CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Corporate Social Responsibility has been, since 1948, one of the pillars of Grupo Miguel, which commits it to Salvadoran society.
Grupo Miguel has a Department of Social Responsibility, in charge of ensuring compliance with the legal parameters that guarantee the respect of the rights of all its employees.
In addition to this, there are policies aimed at respecting the rights of our employees, taking care of the environment, and guaranteeing compliance with hygiene and safety standards that allow safe access and movement of workers, customers, and suppliers within the facilities. The department also works monthly with the development of campaigns of Social Responsibility that benefit the Salvadoran society, for which all the employees are united and they add hours of volunteering that make us an altruistic company.

Environmentally friendly Grupo Miguel
In the first quarter of 2017, Grupo Miguel will start installing a new energy consumption system through solar panels.
World Vision
Since 2014, Grupo Miguel established partnerships with World Vision, a Walmart organization and its “Mujeres en Fábricas” project.
Thousand New Jobs
2016 meant the construction of a new industrial plant for Grupo Miguel, which in addition to adding two new DPAs/companies to the group, will create more than one thousand direct jobs in the country.
Affiliated to the FLA since 2007
Grupo Miguel is the only accessories factory in the country to be affiliated with the Fair Labor Association and will soon be accredited for the following year.
